Cedar Money is a financial technology company revolutionizing cross-border payments from emerging markets.
Founded in 2022, we set out to fix a persistent problem; global payments for businesses are still slow, costly, and fragmented, especially between Africa and the rest of the world.
By combining stablecoin with fiat rails, we’ve built a faster, more reliable, and cost-effective way for businesses to move money internationally.
Today, we’re a diverse team across Canada, the U.S., Israel, Serbia, and Nigeria; backed by 7+ investors led by QED Investors, and registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FinCEN in the United States (Registration No. 31000310586703), with FINTRAC in Canada (Registration No. C100000878) and as a Payment Services Provider with the Bank of Canada.
